in case anyone's wondering, the tie didn't choke me to death. hence, i am still alive to type this in. it nearly did though. i should learn to tie that stupid piece of cloth.
Gladys called me and told me that she and Renny got through the first PGA round. i was so happy. but then again, it wasn't unexpected. still... hopefully it'll be smooth sailing for them in the later rounds.
walked around hougang mall trying to find the Shrek vcd. couldn't find it. was freaking pissed off. until i went to Game 1 and saw they had Onimusha 3. the guy at the counter was demonstrating it to some people and i just stood there for a while to watch. then, since i was the only girl there, he asked me if i wanted to have a shot at the training. oh my lord. the CG was great and it was totally awesome. except that i could only get pass the first training and then i got my butt totally whipped. but i knew i had to get it. only problem was the cash thing and that i don't own a PS2. it'll only be worth it if i had a PS2. but this situation has occurred before. there was also a time when i was debating whether to buy Onimusha: Warlords and King of Fighters'02. in the end, i did. after all, one does have the thing called friends who are willing to lend the use of the PS2 to you if you ask nicely and urm, beg.
but i still wasn't entirely sure. after all, Onimusha 3 was like a fairly new release. (new enough that the cheats for the game hasn't come out online, not that i use cheats but i use them as a gauge of how new the game is) new games are, duh, more expensive. should wait for the price to drop a little.
went home and then after watching tv for a while, (me was being a uberslacker on saturday), went to search again for the shrek vcd. finally found it way back in the cupboard. then i messaged Quek to tell her she could have fun with her gingerbread man. and she went:"You make it sound so... but thanks" or something to that effect. then i went:"I'm like really innocent and hail me." then she replied:" Hail you my foot, be it subtle or not, you're not that innocent. but since you're lending me the vcd, better hail you." yay.
we're all not that innocent
went online and Keith talked to me because he was bored. what am i? some form of entertainment? no la. quite funny. discussed er, the innocence of people. that should about cover the whole conversation.
still thinking about Onimusha. was trying to rack my brains for someone who played PS2 like a maniac. er, avid fan. messaged my cousin for his opinion but he didn't play it. messaged my "PS2 lenders" but i knew they didn't play it. (everytime i played Onimusha 1, they went, "this game isn't my cup of tea." which frankly shows that they have little class). then i remembered that Daniel remarked once in his letters that he was king/master of PS2. so i messaged him. must buy, he said. still... anyway, on the good side is that i found someone who played it! and yay, he'll be lending me Onimusha 2 soon. cos i haven't played it. i can foresee many happy hours at my friend's place trying to complete the game before the holidays start.
this is an extremely long post for a day description.
